Max is an alumni of the Bowdoin International Music Festival where he studied several summers with Lewis Kaplan of the Juilliard School. Max was also the recipient of the Bryce and Jonelle Jordan Music Scholarship to the Penn State University School of Music where he was a student of James Lyon.
